About Leaders For KidsLeaders for Kids, an Advisory Board of the Children’s Hospital of Michigan Foundation (CHMF),are passionate about the health and wellness of children in the region and the charitable work being performed by CHMF.
The Foundation’s critical mission is to raise funds for pediatric medical research, education and, community benefit programs. Sponsoring community events on key issues that advance the health of children in Michigan furthers the mission of CHMF.

100% of proceeds from Cheers For Children 2018 will support the Leaders for Kids endowment at Children's Hospital of Michigan Foundation. Leaders for Kids has raised over $600,000 to date for the following programs:
- Art Therapy
- Adolescent Health Community Program
- Hamtramck School-Based Health Center
- Princesses & Superheroes Party and Sibling Bereavement Camp
- Child Life Fellow in the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit
- Project Challenge and Camp
- Imagination Destination Project - imaginative environments to help create positive experiences that replace stress, fear and the need for sedation for children undergoing MRI tests
