Emerging Public Policy Leadership Award

The EPPLA program recognizes graduate students with a demonstrated capacity for leadership at the interface of science and policy.  Through a competitive application process, several students are recognized each year.  Winners receive a trip to Washington, DC, where they meet with members of Congress, representatives of the White House, participate in a communications and advocacy training program, and get a first hand look at how federal dollars are allocated for scientific research.  Past recipients have gone on to science policy careers in Washington, DC, state capitols, and as faculty members.  Donations to this program will enable us to offer the opportunity to more graduate students and to launch new programs that sustain the growing network of past EPPLA winners.

* International Donations:  If you live outside the United States and would like to join AIBS, renew your membership or donate to AIBS. please visit: https://aibs.wufoo.com/forms/aibs-international-members-form/.
