It's time for our annual Red & White Ball for the Center for the Visually Impaired's STARS program! This is a Prom for the middle & high school age kids at CVI, complete with a crowning of King & Queen of the Ball. Delta Gamma provides the funding and support of this great philanthropic event. With your generosity, we are able to pay for the event space, food, DJ, decorations and auction items. We are calling on you once again to help make this a memorable event for the kids. Please remember that many of these students may not be invited to, or can afford, to attend their schools' proms or dances, so we want to make this night special!
The Ball will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2017 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. at All Saints' Episcopal Church in Midtown Atlanta.
You can help us in the following ways:
1. VOLUNTEER: We need volunteers on the day of the event to decorate, clean up, check-in, serve food, take pictures and dance with the kids. Feel free to invite your spouse, children (ages 12 ) and friends to help out with this fun event! The volunteer time slots are: 9:30 am-12:00 pm (Decorate); 5:30-7:30 pm (Set up); 7:00-9:30 pm (Clean up)
To those who want to volunteer, please select a time slot and number of volunteers in this form.
2. MONETARY DONATIONS: If you would like to send monetary donations, you can do so via credit card online via the link here. If you would prefer to write a check, you can make checks payable to "Delta Gamma," and contact Kristina Forbes at Foundation@atldg.org for mailing information. This event- including the DJ, food, and decorations- is paid for exclusively by your donations, so please think of us while you plan for your New Year giving!
Please remember that this is an event solely funded & run by the Delta Gamma Atlanta Alumnae chapter. So it's up to us to make this a special night for the CVI kids. If you can help out in any way, we would be appreciative.
Thank you for your support!
ITB,
Kristina Forbes
