You are invited to the Neighbors of West Loop's Annual Meeting and Holiday Party, to be held at 6:30 pm on Wednesday, December 13, 2017.  The meeting will be held at the Blind Barber at 948 W. Fulton Market. 

The mission of Neighbors of West Loop is to unite and empower people who live in the West Loop to make a positive impact on our community.  Each year at our annual meeting we celebrate the year that was and look toward the future.  As the West Loop continues to experience tremendous change, now more than ever we need your involvement.  Please join us at this year's Annual Meeting and Holiday Party and let's collaborate on how to improve and enhance our vibrant neighborhood.

Who can attend the annual meeting?

What is the purpose of the annual meeting?
The formal purpose of our annual meeting is to elect directors.  In addition, the board will give a brief presentation on the organization's 2017 accomplishments and strategic plan for 2018.  With all our meetings and events, we hope for and encourage an open dialogue. 
Our board of directors currently consists of nine members.  Board members serve three-year, staggered terms.  We believe this structure fosters continuity of the organization.  This year, the following three directors have been nominated by the board to stand for re-election:
David Clark
Jennifer Kosse
Leigh Wang

Who is entitled to vote on the election of directors?
The board has fixed October 20, 2017, as the record date for determining the members entitled to vote at the 2017 annual meeting.  To be eligible to vote at the 2017 annual meeting, you must have been a dues-paying member on the record date.  Please visit http://neighborsofwestloop.com/about-us/membership/ if you are interested in becoming a member.
