Our world is so fractured and divided, and yet in L'Arche there is unity. We are a group of people who have differing views on politics, our faith traditions are varied, we are old and young, we have different colors of skin, some of us can run marathons and others cannot get out of bed without assistance. And yet, we love each other. We respect each other and call out each other's gifts. We speak words of hope and kindness. We look for things we have in common, and we sometimes agree to disagree. I've never seen anything else like it.

In May, there will be more than 300 members of L'Arche gathered in DC and it's going to be amazing. Join us, with your presence and/or a financial gift!

  • Join with peer organizations and faith communities to publicly celebrate the contributions of people with intellectual disabilities to our world.
  • Invite new people into our life and mission.
