I am incredibly privileged to have been a part of L'Arche for 11 years. I am so grateful to the community members, those with and without intellectual disabilities, who have cared for me, taught me, and helped me to grow in innumerable ways. And I know that I am not alone. I hear story after story of how L'Arche has transformed the lives of so many.

Present in 35 countries around the globe, L'Arche is such a special movement - celebrating the gift of each person, building relationships between diverse people, and in turn creating a more compassionate and peaceful world.

The goals of the events are to:
 
  • Celebrate 50 years of L’Arche, and the transformation of people’s lives across the globe that has been possible through L’Arche.
  • Join with peer organizations and faith communities to publicly celebrate the contributions of people with intellectual disabilities to our world.
  • Invite new people into our life and mission.
